At the BETT show 2002, Microsoft announced their Class Server product. Class Server is a web-based system for managing curriculum content, homework assignments and lessons both within the school or outside. It also allows parents to connect in via the Internet to monitor their child’s work or make contact with the school.
Class Server links in with many school management systems including Capita SIMS and Facility CMIS as well as many well known curriculum software packages such as Crocodile Clips and Immersive Education’s Kar2ouch software.
Class server is also covered under the new Schools Agreement 3.1 (link).
